The first step begins with the Projects Department . They are responsible for coordinating the processes and the collaboration between the different teams involved in creating a collection. To ensure the diapers are ready and can be shipped on time, the team prepares a calendar for the departments involved and supports them at every step. In this way, they oversee the project, serve as the main point of contact when questions arise, and can also make changes to the plan if necessary. Fortunately, the projects department has extensive experience planning limited edition collections, so all team members were already well coordinated. This is the time to plan the new collection.

2. Product Development:

Once the project is underway, the product team is responsible for overseeing the launch of new products and ensuring the quality of all LILLYDOO products. When planning a new diaper collection, the first thing the team considers is what sizes and what designs to offer, and they decide together with our suppliers when we can make them available to our customers.

3. Design:

Another very important part of the process is design. Our design team is responsible for creating new designs and unleashing their creativity. At the same time, with each new collection, they face the exciting challenge of not repeating themselves.

Approximately one month before a new collection becomes available, the team receives images and information from the project planning team about the new designs and the changes that need to be made to the website and app. They relay this information to our developers, who
ensure that our clients can easily add the new diapers to
their monthly box or buy them individually. Once the project planning team is satisfied with the features and appearance of the product in our store, they test purchases of the new designs to make sure nothing goes wrong and that all the families who are loyal followers of the collections can easily order the new diapers.

5. Logistics and Shipping

Then, the logistics team is responsible for analyzing the variety of designs we want to offer based on data. Depending on the number of limited edition diaper samples we want to produce, we order the corresponding quantity from our supplier. As soon as we know when the new designs will be available, we coordinate the final process with our logistics center near Berlin.

6. Communication:

Finally, we have the marketing team. They are responsible for transporting our clients to magical settings with each collection. As soon as the designs are ready, they begin to think about how we can reach the largest possible number of people and, above all, how they can inspire them. To do this, they plan photoshoots and prepare communication across all channels: magazines and newspapers, on our website, on social media, through online ads, and of course, via influencers.
