The shared ingredient: Lactoferrin
Lactoferrin is a naturally occurring protein that can bind and release iron. It is found in milk, and in especially high amounts in breast milk. That's why we chose it as the common thread in both products: it connects our origins in baby care with the needs of parents. Our lactoferrin is derived from cow's milk and is structurally almost identical to the lactoferrin in breast milk. Lactose is removed during purification, so the finished product is lactose-free⁵. As it is derived from milk, it still contains milk protein.

What does Iron Complex contain?
Iron (as iron bisglycinate), vitamin C and iron-saturated lactoferrin from milk(100 mg per daily dose). Vitamin C is included because it increases iron absorption¹. You can find the full list of ingredients under "Ingredients & Mandatory Information".

How do I take Iron Complex?
Take 1 capsule once daily with 150 ml of water. One pouch contains 30 capsules and lasts about one month.
Is Iron Complex lactose-free and vegan?
Iron Complex is lactose-free⁵, as the lactose is removed during purification. However, it contains milk protein, as the lactoferrin is derived from cow's milk, and is therefore not suitable for people with a milk protein allergy. The capsule shell is vegetarian, but the product is not vegan.
