  • Moisturizing

The unsaturated fatty acids of almond oil are very similar to the skin's own fats. Therefore, almond oil is easily absorbed by the skin and also enhances its natural protective function. This way, almond oil can reduce the skin's moisture loss and leaves a well-groomed feeling.

  • Beruhigend für die Haut

On irritated skin, almond oil can have a cooling and pain-relieving effect. Feelings of tension and skin irritations caused by dryness can also be reduced with the help of almond oil. Therefore, almond oil is particularly suitable for soothing irritated baby skin.

  • Minimizes and prevents signs of skin aging

Sweet almond oil penetrates deeply into the skin cells, supplying them directly with its valuable ingredients. The effect: cell renewal is stimulated, skin elasticity is improved, and the skin appears noticeably smoother – a real secret weapon against wrinkles, then. ;)

  • Low comedogenic

Some natural oils are considered comedogenic, meaning they clog pores and can lead to skin blemishes. • Cold-pressed

Inexpensive oils are often obtained through refining, which unfortunately results in the loss of vitamins and minerals.

  • Sweet almond oil

Sweet almond oil should not be confused with the essential bitter almond oil. The latter is used as a baking flavoring and can be harmful to health if consumed in large quantities due to the contained cyanide.

  • Natural Origin

Sweet almond oil should not contain any dyes, mineral oils, or other ingredients that are not of natural origin. This helps to prevent the oil from being contaminated with unwanted substances that could irritate your or your baby's skin.

How long is almond oil shelf life?

Plant oils have a limited shelf life. You can recognize fresh almond oil by its pale yellow color, neutral smell, and thin consistency. If it becomes cloudy or smells rancid, you should no longer use it.

Can I also use almond oil for skin care if I have an almond allergy?

Even if it may seem paradoxical: The answer is yes! Because a food allergy and a contact allergy to almonds are two different types of allergies.
